Construction resumes on house building at a newly built home in southwest Houston, the Harris County Flood Control District said Monday.
The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office and the Harris Country Fire Department responded to the home in the 5200 block of West Burton Road in the Town of Hightstown, said Fire Marshal Steve Williams.
Crews are working on the structure to complete the new home and prepare for its next step, Williams said.
The construction was scheduled to end Monday afternoon.
The house was built in 2017 by Houston-based builder Grosvenor Homes.
The homeowner told KHOU-TV she expects to be able to move in this summer.
